Tama Goren (b. 1978) is a self-taught artist based in Tel Aviv. Initially exposed to art during high school, Goren’s journey as an artist was enriched by a decade-long career as a fashion model in cities like London, Paris, Milan, and Athens. She began exhibiting her work in 2011 and has since presented nine solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group shows. Known for her forceful, expressive, and avant-garde style, Goren’s work often explores dark and unconventional themes, blending social critique, folklore, Holocaust references, and other diverse symbols and subjects. Her
art juxtaposes sadness with morbid humor, creating a distinct and evocative aesthetic.
